I’m interested in therapy. What’s my first step?+
Getting started takes three steps:
- Click Get Started and follow the prompts. We’ll confirm we can support you based on your location and the care you’re looking for, and gather a bit of information to match you with the right therapist.
- Watch for our email. Our team will send the details, including the cost of therapy and any co-pay or out-of-pocket amounts, along with a few intake forms to complete.
- Once your forms are done, we’ll send a second email with a link to book your first session with your matched therapist in your Momwell Healthie portal.
How long does it take to get started into therapy with Momwell?+
After you submit the Get Started form, our team follows up by email within 24 to 48 hours with your next steps. Once you’ve completed those (intake forms and account setup), you’ll get a second email, again within 24 to 48 hours, with your matched therapist and a link to book. Therapists are currently booking about 1 to 3 weeks out (depending on your location and therapist), so if you’re eligible you can usually expect your first session within 1 to 3 weeks or less.

Welcome! If you are ready for support, the best first step is to start your therapy onboarding through the Get Started form. If you would like to explore first, you can follow our community on Instagram, read free articles and blog posts in our Learning Center, and try our free tools to learn more about what you need.
How do I schedule an appointment?+
Log in to your Healthie portal and click Book Appointment. If you’re new to Momwell and haven’t been matched with a therapist yet, complete the Get Started form first and we’ll guide you from there.
Where are your services currently offered?+
Momwell serves mothers across much of Canada and the United States, and we are adding new provinces and states all the time. The quickest and most up to date way to find out whether we can support you is to begin our onboarding form by clicking “Get Started” and entering your information. You will see right away whether we are available in your area, and if we are not there yet, you can join the waitlist so we can let you know when we are.
Can I choose or switch my therapist?+
We match you with a therapist based on your needs, location, and what you’re looking for, so you start with someone suited to you. If the fit isn’t right, reach out to our team at hello@momwell.com and we’ll do our best to find a better match. Whether a switch is possible depends on a few things, like whether we have another therapist available in your area who is also credentialed with your insurance, so it isn’t always guaranteed, but we’ll talk it through with you.
