The Personal

What’s your favorite way to unwind after a long day? I love to throw on my earbuds and listen to music/audiobook or watch a show while I cook!

What’s your go-to comfort show, podcast, or book? Hmmmm probably something related to Law & Order SVU or Chicago PD. I am a total Olivia Benson fan!

What’s a parenting mantra or quote you love? I live and breathe by "I am doing the best I can with what I have." As the oldest child of immigrants I often felt the need/pressures to be perfect and take care of everything and that phrase helps keep me grounded into reality and recognize that I am great in all I do as long as I am doing it with what I have and no trying to do more than what I don't have.

Coffee order, tea ritual, or favorite snack? Must start with an iced coffee light and sweet every morning!

If you had a whole afternoon to yourself, how would you spend it? Probably going for a walk, I recently started walking to the store near me and noticed just how wonderful I felt afterwards. So I would probably grab my puppies and go find a fun new part of town.
