As a mother of two children 2 yrs and under Macie understands what it is like to be in the trenches of parenting. As someone who has struggled with people-pleasing, being overly worried about how things go and needing to hyper-control to feel comfortable for a majority of her life she wasn't surprised when she then experienced even more anxiety becoming a mother. Through this lived experience Macie is able to connect with her clients on a deeper level, understanding their current struggles and fostering a fullness surrounding their healing journey. She believes that healing has to involve both the mind and the body and incorporates a lot of somatic work within sessions to support holistic healing.
Macie's commitment to helping women thrive is rooted in her education and training. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from William Jessup University and a Master's degree in Counseling from Western Seminary. Through her professional experience, she's honed her skills in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that empower individuals to overcome adversity and lead fulfilling lives.
