Nadia Gonzales is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in maternal mental health and relational work, holding a Master’s degree from Columbia University School of Social Work and bringing over twelve years of experience supporting women and families. Her expertise includes navigating postpartum stress and anxiety, relational conflict, parenting stress, grief and loss, trauma, insecure attachments, and the adjustment to parenthood.
With post-master’s training in Parent-Infant Mental Health and Trauma, Family and Couples Therapy, and advanced training through Postpartum Support International (PSI), Nadia is skilled in attachment-based treatment modalities. Her extensive experience includes working with children and families impacted by interpersonal violence and trauma. Now a mother of two, Nadia is deeply committed to making therapy more accessible, utilizing approaches such as psychodynamic therapy, perinatal child-parent psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness to empower women and families through trauma-informed, equity-centered, and culturally responsive care.
